Hello & Welcome!
Welcome to the very first post of the Via Amata Designs Journal! When I officially launched this metalworking studio at the start of the year, I chose the name Via Amata because it translates to The Beloved Path. To me, it serves as a beautiful, daily reminder to not waste our time—to live with deep intention, to honor where we’ve been, and to choose a path that truly matters.
My vision for this studio has always been to create industrial-grade metal art and adornments built to endure. But as the studio has grown, I’ve felt a deepening pull to share more than just the finished pieces. I want to share the heart, the grit, and the soul behind them.
This journal is going to be our shared corner of the world. Moving forward, I’ll be using this space to pull back the curtain on my creative process and feature individual designs—diving deep into the symbolic meanings and intentions forged into the metal.
But we’re going deeper than just jewelry. For me, art is a mirror for life. I plan to share my own personal stories and lived experiences in the context of these designs. My hope is that these chronicles can help us bridge further connections centered around self-love, healing, resilience, and community. I truly believe that anchoring ourselves in symbolism can help us navigate personal growth and reach powerful new heights.
But healing and resilience aren’t just quiet, reflective practices—they are fueled by fire.
Moving forward, I want to bring an undeniable energy not only to my metal designs, but to every corner of this website and each journal post I share.
My deepest hope is to inspire other women—or whoever finds themselves in this corner of the world—to be bold, audacious, vibrant, sexy, and fun. Life is calling, and I intend to show up bringing that exact energy myself. Let’s shake things up, stay beautifully authentic, and live out loud.

About the Artist
Bre is the metal artisan behind Via Amata Designs. Her true craft was forged through the fire of resilience, navigating heavy life chapters—from surviving childhood abuse to standing 12 years breast cancer-free and managing osteoporosis by lifting heavy.
Working alongside her husband as a maker family and inspired by her circle of strong women, she transforms industrial metals into intentional, hand-finished jewelry. Her work is rooted in sacred geometry and ancient symbols, built to serve as enduring talismans for your own beloved path.
